This module is loaded by the telemetry framework, which we're now loading via
the cluster framework, i.e. also in bare mode. The resulting additional
thread (for creating reporter.log) trips up a number of btest baselines.
version.zeek doesn't use any of the string helper functions.
Add localversion to the VersionDescription record and populate it
during version string parsing.
This change also modifies the version string syntax, removing the
deprecated dash (-) between beta|dev|rc and the commmit count; those
must now be separated by a period.
The test version strings were updated accordingly along with the
baseline.
The regex used for validating version strings was updated to allow
for an optional localversion component. The piece of the version string
also needs to be removed before parsing a possible commit number.
* "bro_is_terminating" is now "zeek_is_terminating"
* "bro_version" is now "zeek_version"
The old function names still exist for now, but are deprecated.
