This instance is a long-term operation to offer an alternative to Github and other big providers. To minimize spam and abuse, we've limited some functions. More information in the following sections.

✅ Registrations are open, valid mail required

I've decided to allow sign-ups again. I'd been hosting a public instance a while back and it was a pain to fight of bots. I hope with the new system it is easier to manage.

✅ Issues and comments are immediately available

I want to track all issues and progress on this platform instead of Github, so allowing people to create issues as fast as possible is important.

✅ Oauth2 for Github, Codeberg and other platforms have been implemented

If you don't want to create a local account, feel free to use an other Oauth2 provider. For now, Github and Codeberg have been added, more to come.

❌ Creating repositories or organizations is limited

Please open an issue in this repo or contact me over a different channel and request more permissions or the creation of an organization. Spam and abuse prevention.

The service is provided “as is” and without any warranty or guarantee of any kind.

Prohibited content:

piracy
pornography and gore
AI-generated “slop” (low-value, mass-generated AI content intended to flood the service)
extremist material of any kind
terrorist content or material supporting/organizing terrorism
malware, botnet command & control, or distribution of malicious code
other automated mass uploads (bulk/automated dumping intended to abuse the service)
doxxing or database dumps containing personal or private personal data
any content that is illegal under German law

Usage limits:

Do not use automated systems to flood or scrape the service.
Large-scale or commercial use requires prior approval.
Abuse of bandwidth or storage may result in suspension.

Privacy

Access logs are being saved for moderation activities. No data is being shared to third-parties.
