+**This is a personal blog.** 
+
+I enjoy testing new software and tools, and writing about them. I try to test as much as possible and keep it short. **I create articles that I'd like to read**.
+
+Also, **performance and clean design are really important to me**. There are *(almost)* no JS dependencies and third party requests *(except for my self-hosted comment function)*, fast page loading speeds without any CDN, and overall a really small footprint.
+
+**Privacy is important**. There are no trackers, no cookies, and no connections to third parties. Access logs are stored for security purposes, but are not shared with anyone.
+

+This version is using the static site generator Hugo. The previous version used [Nikola](https://getnikola.com/).
